Dr. Seuss meets Fatbike

I have built a lot of fatbike forks over the years, but only a few like this (Peter's). 100mm axle spacing and 120+mm tire spacing always looks bizarre to me. But what it looks like matters less than what it does, obviously, and this will fit the wheel and tire it needs to.

Peter also notably needed a _350mm_ steerer tube. Yes, that's 14". Good lord. Hopefully he'll send a picture when it's on the bike and built up - those handlebars must be up in the sky!

So I guess he'll need to deflate the tire every time the wheel goes on or off?

That's what I assume, yes. Seems a bit silly, but to each their own.

Yeah, but it fits in a fork mounted bike rack!

Looks great Walt! I'll definitely send pics when the bike is built up.

As for deflating the tire - most of the time it isn't necessary due to the very low pressure in the fat tire... a Large Marge/Larry tire should squeeze through just fine. If I'm running higher pressure I may need to let some out, but not completely deflate it.
