No, not the tour divide (all race reports kind of pale in comparison to Eszter's). But still a long race in my book.
Report: up, down, up, HAB, up, HAB on top of HAB, down, tears, lots of pain, lots of fun too. I love the riding up there.
7:40 singlespeed, though for some reason the promoters decided to add 15 minutes to my original time, oh well, doesn't matter. Solid mid-pack overall, 9 out of 12 singlespeed LOL. Can't complain, first race in CO without too much "training". Hopefully I'll have legs for the full hundo next year.
Oh yeah, here's a pic...

HAB? The only possible translation I find for HAB on the interwebs is Hot Asian Babe. (no offense to hot asian babes).
Hike A Bike perhaps?
Couldn't possibly be Hike-a-bike. HAB on top of HAB must be referring to Hot Asian Babe on top of Hot Asian Babe.
You still haven't figured out what HAB is all about, have you? It's a state of mind. It's that place where you lose yourself and find yourself. You don't know it yet, but you've got it, Tom. ;)
Luis - I finished 10th and you were the only SSer I remember passing me because you said "spin it to win it". Unfortunately you didn't say "rigid to win it" because for me HAB meant "Hands Are Bloody". Might get me one of them squishy forks!
If you did 7:40 with no training, you'll crush it next year. What gear were you runnin?
