KVA - the followup (or the postmortem?)

Edited: I decided it wasn't particularly fair of me to say bad things about KVA's tubes, when my experience with them (or any stainless) is very limited. Suffice to say that Chris's cross (Kris Kross?) bike never saw the light of day; I built him an OX Platinum bike instead after having numerous problems with the KVA stuff, and I am not offering bikes made with any form of stainless tubing at this time. There are some great builders out there who work with it and do awesome stuff - if you're excited about that, I encourage you to contact one of them.

The rant is much more satisfying than the retraction, even when the cause is well understood. I really appreciated the chance to read about your experience with the tubing. It helped illuminate why some builders won't work with certain materials. It can get especially confusing when one builder won't use (for example) KVA when another never builds with Reynolds 953, a third builder never uses stainless, and the fourth swears up and down there's no reason to use anything BUT stainless!

What else did the KVA;s lawyer have to say, besides demanding an apology?

Your report about the tube is very important and should be read by others.

The expensive frame maybe rustproof, but much weaker than TT platinum.
