...of his new hardtail. Color, for those who are curious, is "bengal red". Thanks for the pics, D!
And for those who are curious about geometry:

-61cm/24" toptube
-Tapered steerer, for 100/120mm suspension fork (Devin is running a TALAS)

Looks sweet...
Bam. I wouldn't change a thing on that bike. Great color.
Same here. Very much my style although I'd steepen the HTA a tad. Walt, how much does this guy weigh? -CJB
Just my style...I'd only steepen the HTA a tad. Walt, how much does this guy weigh? -CJB
It's impolite to ask a lady's age, Cody! But let's just say he weighs between 154 and 156 pounds and leave it a bit of a mystery...
Steeper? You crazy! I like slack, baby! 69 on my current hardtail.
Yeah yeah yeah...a girl's gotta have her secrets! I just found it interesting these stats close to some bikes I've built for myself. But when you add in the A-C length of such a long fork and my desire to keep my bars relatively low, my huge girth makes me uncomfortable with the desired HT length. Thus my weight question as a data point. I've got him by 25lbs. I knew you were going to retort on my HTA comment.... -CJB
This is intended to be a "do everything" xc bike, leaning towards endurance and stage racing.
Therefore, I opted for a slightly slaker HTA with a Talas fork to slaken it even more if desired. Also, longish chainstays by today's standards. The idea is to have a real stable handling bike for those long tiring races.
