Speechless

Well, maybe not quite. Scott's fixie just got bumped from the "most likely to be mocked by BSNYC" pedestal.

On the plus side, it's got brakes (front AND rear) and a freewheel (I think). If I saw it locked up, though, I'd assume someone had died on that spot.

In any case, it's unique. Nice work Tobias - I especially like the hydro brake levers on the drops. The radial front disc wheel, not so much. In my defense, I just built the frame and fork, I didn't have anything to do with the parts.

Wow, that radially spoked disc wheel is such a ridiculously bad idea!

It's beyond me why hipsters keep insisting on buying all-white crap, when white goes so well with high-polished SHINY.

Fred -

Yeah. I hope he doesn't have to make too many hard stops - that wheel will collapse.

In my defense, I just built the frame and fork. Parts choices were made entirely without my input.

Nice colorway. Did they run out of "All You Haters Suck My Waltworks" rims over at velocity?

I would pay good money for that rim.

Know what I love? A builder that 'knows' but doesn't 'get it'. Walt yr like a dad. 'Sure kid, I'll build it for you... what's this for again?'

I'm just guessing here but I bet it'll be ridden in the snow too.

WW-->
uuuu^uuuu

^That's supposed to be a poorly thought out ASCII diagram of waltworks jumping the shark. (WW--> = waltworks jumping [I guess], u = waves, ^ = shark fin)

Since Andrew mentioned it, I'll ask the question here that I've been wondering about for the last year or so: when did the word "color" get replaced with "colorway" and to what end???

Except for the radial front wheel and lack of bar tape (wrap and plug your %$#$% bars, you hipster!) it's a nice looking bike!

Aren't there other radially laced mtb disc wheelsets out there? I mean, I'm not defending it, but it has been done in the past, right?

I am also quite curious how the hydros are rigged up.
