No, not Dallas Fort Worth. I'm reading a book that might be weirder and more parenthetical than Infinite Jest.
House of Leaves. Way out there. We'll see if I finish it or not - it's one of those books that you can tell from the first page is going to be either really good or really bad. But you won't know until about 3/4 of the way through.
I'm sure you're all waiting on on tenterhooksfor my full review. Sadly, I must build bikes. Perchance another day.

I think Infinite Jest is equally good for protecting wide cracks, as it is for reading (amusing if dicey). Make sure to give an update on this one.

yes, that's a weeeeeird one. I actually didn't end up finishing it, not because of lack of interest, but I'm hesitant to go back since it's confusing enough that I'll have to start over. The funniest thing about reading the book is trying to explain to somebody what it's about without confusing yourself...
I read the book, too. Bizarre, and I'm not sure the book really has an ending.
Is this the book that has hallways appearing and disappearing?
If so I started out loving it but........well it just didn't seem to finish well.
