The 1:1 is excellent - very easy to setup and the shifting is slick!

On another note, I can't find anything on rider weight limits on the Edge Composites handlebars.

Are these suitable for clydesdales?

What about running them with the awesome WW forks, you recommended something more all mountain (like Easton Havocs) a while back?rtlnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36151678.post-75834982867636492692010-04-21T18:37:50.950-07:002010-04-21T18:37:50.950-07:00oh come on, for a budget build I would choose shim...oh come on, for a budget build I would choose shimano deore hubs. They work well for a tenth of the price and you can maintain the bearings easily. for rims delgado-x would be a better budget choice.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36151678.post-1531465964486429882010-04-21T10:47:38.639-07:002010-04-21T10:47:38.639-07:00This build suits my sensibilities. The parts work just as well, they're just a little bit heavier, and they'll probably last longer.

I find your preference for grip shift interesting. I moved from thumbies to grip shift to trigger shifters. I haven't looked back since the trigger shifters. Of course, my grip shifters were mid-90's model, so they've probably made great strides since then. I'm also intrigued by SRAM's 1:1 cable actuation, since my triggers have always been Shimano.

And any avid rider wants a little bling, so it's nice that you included some King & Thomson. Not to mention made in USA! All in all, a nice build.Craighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07929719447417919669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36151678.post-27918268620071412462010-04-16T10:11:33.926-07:002010-04-16T10:11:33.926-07:00There is definitely something to be said for that....There is definitely something to be said for that.
