The cog up front i...No plans to run it singlespeed. The cog up front is just a backup in case the rear hub has problems (like water getting in it and freezing, keeping the pawls from engaging). If that happens out in the middle of no where, I can just swap wheels and keep going. <br /><br />The stem that I'm using (Syntace Superforce 120mm x 6 degree) is also available in a 120mm x 20 degree. If I switched to that stem, I could go from 40mm of spacers to 20mm, and the bars would stay in just about the same position.
