Did you ever get it installed and how did it run? Please you can send me an email with any information that would be helpful.poeticdude29@hotmail.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36151678.post-49014161728211361872009-01-30T19:05:00.000-08:002009-01-30T19:05:00.000-08:00Walt, don't forget to register your new dropout de...Walt, don't forget to register your new dropout design with the U.S. Patent Office at http://uspto.gov/. Filing a "utility" patent electronically with the US PTO costs only $82 for "small individual entities" like WaltWorks.

Keep up the great work and congratulations on your success.Brian Hammersteinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02266999739757792527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36151678.post-18893374334354532192008-09-05T00:20:00.000-07:002008-09-05T00:20:00.000-07:00Walt, I've been looking to start building my "drea...Walt, I've been looking to start building my "dream" commuter, complete with sliding (paragon-ish) drops for disc brakes and a belt drive system (single speed obviously). I'm ANXIOUSLY anticipating your upcoming design as I feel it might just be perfect for my project.

The idea of an uber-crisp presentation (e.g., internally routed rear brake cable) paired with the above all together on a compact geometry (similar to my current 925) excites me greatly. I'm shooting for a "maintenance free" bike and I think this may be as close as I'll get for a while (short of having to grease a few things and lube the brake cables once in a while).Jaredhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16473049435011189327noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36151678.post-23675440721352283402008-09-02T12:37:00.000-07:002008-09-02T12:37:00.000-07:00Walt, thank you for the close review of the Carbon...Walt, thank you for the close review of the Carbon Drive System. We're happy to see so much excitement around it. We'll clarify the language on our site to avoid any confusion about its weight. Obviously, we have weighed our parts in the past, but now that we have our final production parts, a review of these weights is in order. Thanks for your input, and enjoy your Carbon Drive System over the winter. We'll be eager to hear your feedback.

Todd Sellden
Technical Director
Gates Corporationtselldenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00806637398138352444noreply@blogger.com
